The Story So Far
Every house has a story. Here's ours.
The House of Bronte began long before there was a house.
Over 15 years ago, Tanya Cullen founded Bronte Photography, with a love for capturing people, places and moments through the lens. For Tanya, photography was never simply about taking a picture. It was about telling a story, finding beauty in the everyday and seeing the world from a different perspective.

Meanwhile, her sister Andrea was finding her own way of telling stories, through fashion.
Trained as a fashion designer, Andrea's creative journey began with fabric, form and the narratives woven into what we wear. Clothing became more than something to put on. It became a character, an identity, a story waiting to be told.
From fashion, Andrea's practice evolved into branding, visual identities, with a Masters in Design, then came creative direction and experience design, eventually moving beyond the page and into physical spaces, live performance and film.
Andrea went on to establish House of Bronte, bringing together her love of design, storytelling and creating experiences that connect people, places and ideas.
Today, Andrea Cullen is a multidisciplinary creative director, designer, filmmaker and concept creator, working across live productions, immersive experiences, visual storytelling, set design and art direction.
Her work has taken her from fashion studios in London and New York to directing large-scale live productions, creating visual worlds for musicians and performers, and bringing stories to life through film, landscape, light and sound.
From creative directing Niall Breslin's live performances and touring productions to designing and directing the opening performance for Oprah Winfrey's event at Dublin's 3Arena, Andrea's work is rooted in a belief that creativity should be felt, not just seen.
And through it all, Tanya's eye behind the lens has remained an important part of the story.
Together, the sisters bring different disciplines, perspectives and personalities to their work, united by a shared curiosity and a love of visual storytelling.
A House With Many Rooms
What began with photography and fashion has grown into a multidisciplinary creative house, where each room holds a different way of telling a story.
Some rooms are filled with cameras, costumes and sketches. Others with film, music, light, movement and the wonderfully organised chaos of live production.
We work with artists, musicians, businesses, communities and fellow creatives, bringing together the right people and disciplines to make ideas happen.
And while our imaginations might take us anywhere, we like to keep the turf on our shoes.
We're proud of where we come from, and believe that being down-to-earth, approachable and genuinely invested in the people we work with is every bit as important as the work itself.
The House of Bronte is always evolving, with new stories, new collaborators and new rooms waiting to be discovered.
Our doors are always open to fresh ideas, curious minds and unexpected collaborations. After all, a house is only as interesting as the people who fill it.
And if we run out of room?
Sure, we can always build an extension.
Why Bronte?
No, we're not the literary Brontë sisters. Although there are a few similarities.
We're sisters, we love a good story, and creativity has always been part of our family.
There's also Tara, our sister, an artist and design educator, and our fourth sister, who brings her own creativity into the classroom as a secondary school special needs teacher.
Different paths, different ways of seeing the world, but a shared appreciation for imagination, expression and the importance of creativity in everyday life.
And so, The House of Bronte feels like a natural home for it all.
- We wear many hats -
The magic is knowing which one your story needs.
our creative process
Our creative process in every project begins with curiosity. We listen, explore and discover the story worth telling. Then we find where it belongs, how best to bring it to life and what experience we need to create for both our client and their audience. Whether through film, design, photography or live performance, we bring together the right ideas, people and creative disciplines to make something meaningful and memorable.
Because a good story isn't just about what you tell. It's about what people take away.
